DIVORCE SERVICES

Edisputesolution provides an array of Divorce services, ranging from simple no-contest divorce packages, to mediation services, all the way to pre-litigation mediation with lawyer prepared Court filings and attorney representation in Court.

Packages include all necessary paperwork prepared by an attorney, our office files the paperwork for you in the appropriate Court, and an authorized legal representative will go with you to the Courtroom to make sure your Divorce is approved. You and your Spouse each receive one certified copy of your filed Decree.

Packages do not include Court filing fees (currently $169.00) which are payable to the Court Clerk at the time the Divorce case is filed in Court, costs of professional service of Summons, U. S. Postage (or other delivery costs), etc. In short, Package rates cover all of our services and personal expenses, but no out of pocket, or third party expenses.

PACKAGES:

UNCONTESTED E-DIVORCE: (E-Divorce means that you provide your information to us over the internet. Uncontested Divorce assumes you and your spouse have a complete agreement about all details to be included in your Divorce Decree, your spouse will sign the Decree we prepare, and will sign a Waiver, waiving all right to appear in Court and contest the provisions of the Decree.)

2. E-DIVORCE WITH CHILDREN ........................................$500.00

BASIC UNCONTESTED DIVORCE: (You provide your information to us in our office, or over the telephone. Otherwise, the same rules apply about Uncontested Divorce as described above in the E-Divorce section.)

PRE-LITIGATION MEDIATION/DIVORCE PACKAGE: (This package is for married couples who have some unresolved divorce issues, but neither party has filed for divorce yet, and neither party has retained an attorney. Package includes mediation matierials, up to four hours of mediation in our offices, and all legal services included in the Uncontested Divorce Package, provided mediation is successful. At the time of mediation, the parties will designate a "filing" party, who will go to Court with the legal representative. If the parties can not reach and agreement, they may choose to continue mediation, or they will be refunded the cost of the Basic Uncontested Divorce.)

1. MEDIATION/DIVORCE WITHOUT CHILDREN ................$950.00

2. MEDIATION/DIVORCE WITH CHILDREN .....................$1,200.00

ADDITIONAL SERVICES: (Some cases require a little extra paperwork, for which we have modest additional charges).

MEDIATION SERVICES - We also conduct mediation for parties who have attorneys.  A one time set-up fee of $100.00 is charged, plus $175.00 per hour of actual mediation time.  These sessions are very helpful in resolving difficult issues in divorce.  Attorneys may attend with their clients, but are not required to do so.  Please visit our Mediation page for more information.
